Five days. Endless light. Photography that changes how you see.
Andalucía in southern Spain is one of the most beautiful areas in Europe. It simply cannot be rivalled for the variety of scenery, climate, spectacular mountains, history, culture, and fantastic flora and fauna. There will be an abundance of photo opportunities. Let the landscape inspire you.
This is a relaxing, fun-filled photography holiday designed to help both experienced photographers and complete beginners. Whether you are picking up a camera for the first time or looking to sharpen skills you already have, this week is built around helping you come home a more confident, creative photographer.
Bring any camera, tablet, or smartphone. You will get the most from the tuition if your camera has aperture and shutter speed modes, but it is not a requirement.

A big jump in confidence. You will finally understand your camera in a simple and practical way. Which controls matter, how to use them, and how to make decisions without guessing.

A deeper understanding of composition.
You will learn how to create images with clarity, balance, intention, and story. You will begin to see strong images before you even lift your camera.

Experience across different photographic environments. Mountains, coastlines, villages, nature, culture, architecture, and daily life. Each location teaches you something valuable and stretches you in a different direction.

Clearer creative vision. You will discover what you naturally enjoy photographing and begin to understand your own style. That shift stays with you long after the trip ends.

Images you are genuinely proud of. Not just snapshots. Considered, well-crafted photographs that reflect what you actually saw and felt in a place.

Supportive and honest feedback
Two tutors will be with you throughout the week, always on hand to answer questions and suggest ways to improve. The focus is always on helping you grow.

A real sense of achievement. Many people say they learn more in one week like this than they have in years of trying on their own.

Good company
The group is small and friendly. You will probably make a few new friends along the way, and many people stay in touch long after the holiday ends.

Most of the learning happens when you are out and about on excursions, camera in hand. A few classroom sessions make it easier to introduce key photography concepts and techniques clearly before you head out to use them.
You will cover composition, exposure, perspective, aperture, and shutter speed at each location — learning in context rather than in the abstract. Two tutors will be there throughout to answer your questions and help you improve on the spot. The aim is for every participant to return home a more experienced and confident photographer.

Critique isn't about being right. It's about being helpful — to others, and to yourself.
I've spent over 45 years looking at photographs. What I've learned is that the best critique always starts with curiosity, not judgement. Ask what the photographer was trying to say. Ask what you feel when you look at it. Ask what would happen if one thing were different.
Those questions open things up. And once you start asking them, you never really stop.
Come along. Bring a photo if you want to. Leave with a better eye
